FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions. Answered clearly.

Company facts, component development, tooling, quantities and delivery — without the guesswork.

What does Stark Autoplast Industry manufacture?

We design, develop and manufacture plastic injection-moulded auto components and industrial plastic parts in Faridabad, Haryana. Our range includes bus and cargo components, handles, bushes, bobbins, locators and custom moulded parts.

Can you manufacture a part from a drawing or sample?

Yes. Our in-house design team and tool room support build-to-print development and reverse engineering from a sample. Share your drawing or sample details for a requirement review.

Do you support low-volume production?

Yes. Flexible low-volume production is part of our offering. Minimum quantities, tooling needs and component cost are reviewed for each requirement; quantities are available on request.

What files should I share for a price request?

Share your drawing, specification or clear sample photographs. PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP, STP, IGES, JPG, PNG and ZIP files are accepted, up to three files of 10 MB each. Include quantity and delivery requirements.

How do you arrange deliveries?

Our own transport fleet serves domestic customers within one day of travel time from Faridabad. Contracted transport is used for customers beyond one day. Delivery schedules are agreed against the requirement.

When was the company established?

Stark Autoplast Industry was established in 2017.

Where is your manufacturing unit?

Our unit is at Plot No. 23/2, Gali No. 2, Badkhal-Pali Road, Village Bazri, Faridabad, Haryana 121004, India.

Do you have an in-house tool room?

Yes. The tool room includes a surface grinder, lathe, M1TR milling machine and EDM. CNC Wire Cut and VMC are planned additions, not currently claimed as available.

What design software does your team work with?

The design team has working experience in SolidWorks, Pro-E and AutoCAD.

Which inspection instruments are available?

Digital height gauge, digital vernier caliper, surface plate, bevel and degree protractors, radius and pitch gauges, and digital micrometer are listed in our company profile.

What is injection moulding?

Injection moulding forms a component by introducing a suitable heated polymer into a mould cavity. The material cools and takes the cavity shape. Tool design, material and processing requirements depend on the part.

Can plastic parts be reverse engineered?

Yes. An existing sample can be measured and used to develop product and tooling designs. The intended fit, function and material should be confirmed before a production tool is made.

How long does tool development take?

Timing depends on part geometry, complexity, tooling requirements and approval stages. Send your drawing or sample for a project-specific review rather than relying on a generic timeline.

What is the difference between a prototype and a production tool?

A prototype tool generally supports development and initial samples. A production tool is designed around the agreed repeat-production requirements. Suitability depends on geometry, material, quantity and service expectations.

What materials can I specify?

You can indicate PP, ABS, PA/Nylon, PC, HDPE, PVC, Rubber/TPE or another material in your enquiry. Suitability and availability are reviewed; the final specification follows your drawing or approved sample.

Can I choose the component colour?

Colour requirements can be included in the enquiry. The final colour and finish are agreed as part of the customer specification.

Are standard dimensions published?

Dimensions, tolerances and weight depend on each customer drawing or approved sample. A datasheet can be requested for the specific part.

Can you develop a new mould?

New tool development is supported by our in-house tooling and design capabilities. Share the part requirements to review tooling scope.

Can you work with an existing tool?

Select Existing tool available in your enquiry. Tool condition, compatibility and component requirements need to be reviewed before a quotation.

Do you provide tooling inspection?

The tool room uses a height gauge with surface plate, digital vernier and digital micrometer for tooling inspection.

Can drawings be treated as confidential?

Yes. Mark the confidentiality option when submitting your requirement. Uploaded files are stored privately and are available only to authorised staff.

How can I request a quotation?

Use Request for Price and include your company, contact details, selected parts, quantities, location and drawings if available.

Is a minimum order fixed?

Minimum order quantities are on request and depend on the part, tooling and production requirement.

Are prices shown online?

No. A component price depends on tooling, material, quantity and specification. Submit a requirement for a tailored quote.

Can you quote a part not in the catalog?

Choose Custom part / not listed. Include the part name, drawing or sample photographs and expected quantity.

Do you offer custom moulded parts?

Yes. Design, tooling and manufacturing support is available for customer-specific plastic components.

What does build-to-print mean?

Build-to-print means manufacturing against a customer-provided drawing and agreed specifications.

What does build-to-sample mean?

Build-to-sample uses an existing part as the starting point for geometry review, design and tool development. Functional requirements still need customer confirmation.

Which machines are used for moulding?

The profile shows Electronica injection moulding machines, including an Optima 75 model. A detailed current machine list is available on request.

Is CNC Wire Cut currently available?
